Is raising the roof viable for most people? I can't tell if it's a simple addition or just extra hassle.

It is viable option if you have the skill set to do it. It added a year onto my project probably. It was much tougher than I thought it would be and would not call it simple and I have a background in this type of wrok. Since we will be living in it full time I am very glad I did it. If I was just using is as a weekender I don't know if I would.

Your school looks amazing! We are looking to do the same thing but not ourselves. I would like a minute or two of your time, as we plan to live fulltime in our schoolie. I think head height would be a big problem.
