DT466 is great engine. Cummins is great- it's in my bus. The HP #s are deceptive, it's more torque you'd want to compare.

If I were to buy a big bus today, I'd get the 8.3 Cummins ISC in a pusher...with air ride.

Hi Rusty. I'm new, new to this forum and new to Skoolies. As in still have an umbilical cord.

I saw a post where two buses were compared. One had a 190HP DT466E/turbo engine and the other a 225HP Cummins ISB/turbo engine. You said that the Cummins wins.

My question is, were you referring to the name brand of the engine or the higher HP?
