Hey I'm camping around Waiperous, Nordegg and Spirit River...to name a few places. I just go to any fish and wildlife or county office and buy a land titles map of the area I'm in. Shows right where the crown land is and gives a pretty good view of any city/town. I think their 25 bucks or something....could be more now the commies are in office.
Hey Kirk! Did I see you cruising around town today? The bus was painted brown, which isn't anything I see in your album, but the windows had me guessing that it was you.
Spotted the rig going South on Peoples Road. I was coming out of Trio Automotive, picking up bleeder screws for the bus!
Ok, thanks for the reply. I just got a quote for insurance from Cooperative insurance today. Commercial $ 2500 and converted to rv $3500. I guess I'll need to shop around for that next. Unbelievable how much it sucks in ontario for insurance rip-off.
Hi Fourshow. It was very easy getting it registered as a motor home. All I needed was a letter written by myself for the ministry stating what I had done to convert the bus to a motor home. This included changing the colour, adding bathroom, cooking, sleeping areas and water storage
Hope this helps. Any questions just ask. I will help if I can.
Hi, I'm new to Skoolie. I'm looking at getting our bus this summer. The wife works for a bus company in the office and we are on the top of the list for first pick at the retiring buses. The list comes out mid May, time moves so slow. lol
In trying to get all my ducks in a row I've been getting the run around at our Service Canada place here in town. I understand the importance of proper registration and want to get it right. How did you go about getting the bus registered as a motorhome.
Thanks for your time.
