My alt. Went out today on our bus....after a long trip over ten state's. Now find ourselves stuck at home with no way of fixing it. The funny part is we never seen another bus the hole time out. I'd say thats due mostly to the cold weather on the east cost. Yet we we're in all southern state's. Ky. Tn. Ark. Mi. Tx. Co. Ka. Broke down in the Ozarks had to limp to truck shop 37 to get a fuel filter replaced. The poeple there were very good to us. One part they didn't have put us on a 40 mile limp to international truck shop. Once there we had to buy high pressure line. Fixed that , then headed out to home. With a stop to LBL in Ky, were we had a not so cool in counter with something in the dark.....we just took off! Once home we started to see the lights going dim. Needless to say we never made it to Az. To meet other skoolies. Now sit in our sticks an bricks broke down....
Guess this is not working right or I just don't know how to use it. Not getting any feed back, just viewings.... Give it a day or so if I can't get the hang of it by then I may be pulling out of this web page..... Sorry.......HELP!?
We're 1,911.4 miles from RTR meet this year coming up. As it will be our first one hope all gose well. We're goig to try to start saving for fuel money. I'll keep every one up to date on our progress...... wish us luck
Bones is about 90% done and we wish we could make it to RTR coming up. So we can share our loved Bones with other builders. Let the fuel money savings start....lol
So new to the web thing.....so it will take me some time to post. First let me say I'm not new to school bus life. My family now is..and to clear that up a bit..... when I was a baby my mom and dad lived full time on a old bus. Years later after getting my family of five in to camping, we had a van. The van didn't cut it...another store for another time... Then we had a class c rv....once again that was a no go! Plus has its own story. Me and my wife saved Bones our skoolie from a junk yard. Thus begins our love for this old guy.....With his own story... Sort but a start for a post.....
