Nebuchadnezzar the build

Hi All,

Thought I'd start a new thread since I'm not Searching for the Neb, he has been found. I've been doing some work, research and buying lots of stuff. Since deciding to build The Neb I knew that I wanted to go places where hook ups weren't so we'll be off grid, 600 watts solar, 100 gallons of water, composting toilet. I'm following Hand Bob's solar recommendations closely. I'm designing around the solar system so that I can minimize wire run lengths and be as efficient as possible. So here are a few pics of recent work, more to follow. In addition to my regular job I also umpire high school and american legion baseball so bus work is in between everything else.

Scored the composting toilet

Bought a composting toilet yesterday, been watching CL and ebay for months. Brand new, never used, all hardware. $699 may sound pricey but it affords me the flexibility I'm looking for, reducing water use and tank dumps. :hornet:http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2NlgxNj...VU3us/$_14.JPG

I zapped one earlier this week under the inside of the front cap that was just getting started. Gotta love 15' range wasp and hornet spray

Love that spray use it on the pool uprights for nests

I love using WD40 for my pests....spray them and they freeze in mid flight and down they go. Just have to be aware of what else I'll spray while doing so.

My problem now are these what I call "killer bees" They are HUGE (about 2" long) and when struck with a 2X4 will just hit the ground, shake off and come flying right at you. If we miss they will still charge us. They look like large bees but Clint thinks their some kind of hornet. Whatever they are the dogs and I both avoid them.

"Brake Kleen" works pretty good too. The old formula was the only thing I have ever seen that would drop any spider in its' tracks instantly. Not sure about the new "eco-friendly" stuff though.

She calmly grabbed a plastic bag and with gloves on she put it around nest and removed it and then taunted me as I grabbed some spray, lighter and cardboard, lit cardboard with flame thrower and she tossed bag in as I applied more fire and brimstone and the little devils :mrgreen:http://www.skoolie.net/attachments/p...824cf31596.jpg
.
:campfire: + :hornet: =

Anyone have experience mounting the on-board heaters on their side (not standing on end), I would like to mount them facing away from the two driver side wheel wells, blowing out into the isle. Changing out the heater hoses this weekend.
