Skoolie With Stacks?

Would it work?

What r the + and - Of It

I'v also considered stacks at some point in my conversion. The problem is..........where to put em? Would it be attractive to have the pipes run on the outside of the bus all the way to the top??

You'd also have to change your exhause from single to double pipes

I think it would be awsome to have stacks with the little flipper on top...the one that at idle bounces open and closed with a ding ding ding sound.

Stacks

Or mabey 8 Stacks coming out of the Hood or 4 off to each the side of the hood.

Is that hard on gas Consumption?

That's not a big deal, I was thinking of putting headers on my 345. But then I would just want an intake manifold for a 4bbl carb to go with them :D

You would have to be careful where you place them, the exhaust gases could enter the cabin through a window or a vent. It would look like crap though having the stacks at the back.

Stacks

But if you put a bigger intake- Thats more gas Comsumption, Right?

Note: I just want the Room Under the bus For Storage-Tanks-

Things like that

Not mine but it looks cool. Chrome stacks are not cheap.

4 barrel carb does not necessarily mean greater fuel consumption. The second two barrels only open under hard acceleration. Nice to have if you need extra power for hills or passing, but a heavy foot could drop your fuel mileage. Under normal driving conditions your mileage should stay pretty much the same.

Also anything chrome is expensive. :)

I watched Herbie Goes Bananas the other night and the school bus they are using to get around Panama(?) actually has stacks coming up the rear of the bus, one on each side. In fact all of the school buses in the town where they got the one they were driving had stacks like that.

I want to put dual stacks out the passenger side of the bus just behind the door. Im thinking 2 5" elbows
