How to remove, patch, and replace a heavy duty commercial tire

I hope this belongs here, its not a "conversion tutorial" but it is a tutorial that will probably be of value to many people here who want to learn how to remove and patch a tire, or who carry a spare tire w/out the wheel and need to know how to mount a tire in the field.

Pretty good tutorial. I do this weekly and back in my early years, this was daily. Very important to plug AND patch. Illegal to patch commercial steer tires btw.

Good to know, I was wondering about this (whether you could legally and safely, plug/patch high PSI commercial tires in general). Sounds as if you can and its safe to do (and run at normal PSI?), just not on the steers?

If you don't run the tire at "normal" psi it WILL run hot, and a hot tire leads to a blow out...

Great tutorial -- why didn't I think of the vise-grip trick! Genius!
