I started off using the precut tint kits you can buy on eBay. Knowing what I know now I would just by the better quality tint by the roll as it's far easier to work with. And in the long run cheaper....

Tint isn't too hard to install, a bus is as easy as it gets. There's no shrinking or anything involved in flat glass. I'm not a professional installer but have done several of my cars over the years...

I wouldn't worry about cutting it. It's easy to replace later on down the road. One end goes to the switch on the dash the other goes to the pump.

You'll still have some coolant flow to the front with out the boost pump (my pump wasn't working) but it wouldn't be as efficient.

Did you keep the from heater for the defroster? I'd keep the coolant boost pump if you did to help the coolant get pushed to the front. You can always cut it, do your floor etc then just hook it up...
