Problem solved. I found the wire for the back-up light in the switch console. I converted my unused mirror heater switch to control it. It's a manual thing but it works just fine.

If it is in the transmission, I think I'll try to find the wire that controls it and rig a switch on the transmission cable under the dashboard. Otherwise it won't pass inspection. Or I could just...

Can anyone help me. I have a 1997 Thomas International 3800. Can anyone tell me where the reverse switch is? My back up light and beeper gets stuck on. Sometimes.
