Re: Running 12v with 110v

As Lorna says, 'Converter' would be what to look for in the catalogue. I always called 'em 'Power Supplies'.

Possible paint scheme?!?

I saw this pulling out of one of the Tampa area military annexes and thought it too cool not to pull out the camera. I'm not sure I'd want the attention that goes with it, but it'd certainly make a...

Re: door lock

This is the only thing I could find at Lowes to span the gap on my old double door and still let me use my own padlock.

Re: Once more into the breach, dear friends...

Thanks! So far, I've only used two quarts to touch up the seams and cover over the red and blue stripe that were on the side of the bus. It matched very well with the existing white and unless you...

More sheet metal & the door...

Still chugging away at the door... I had planned to pick up the channel for trimming the edges today, but it wasn't in stock. It will be a few more days before I can get started back on this again....

I went to the frappr link on the main page and the flash isn't loading. Doing a little research, it seems that Frappr has closed. In the interest of a professional looking site, think we should pull...

Re: Radiant Floor Heating Reference

Re: Once more into the breach, dear friends...

Between playing Santa and digging for the right calculations to figure out this radiant floor thing, I got the sheet metal up on the driver side. Today I got out and wiped down the painted strips and...

Re: Radiant Floor Heating Reference

That was another reason for wanting the heat on the floor. My daughter and I both despise shoes and she complains about the cold floor more than anything. I considered electric, but by the numbers I...

Re: Radiant Floor Heating Reference

One zone, ~120' of tubing run up and back and up and back.

I guess that's a possibility, but the design of the open loop systems keeps everything flowing with no stagnant water in the...
