There are no downsides to the dta360 (only the transmission), it is a sleeved engine, so an in-frame rebuid is possible as well. Windows look good.

The valve cover on your int diesel looks more like a dt360 rather than a dt466, have you checked this? If I remember correctly the dt360 has all raised ribs in the valve cover,...
