From what I've read on here its not worth the work and problems it creates... I did see a Tailgating bus they put a rather thick sheet of Aluminum over the Rub Rails and then put a Vinyl Wrap banner...

I'm sorry I'm just now replying... Here's my only hindsight issue if I would have sprayed the roof... I'm going to put some 12v LED lighting in at strategic points (I currently use magnetic lighting)...

55 - 60 My 96 12v is running 2300 - 2400rpm

Your RPM's are probably reading wrong... (99% sure of it) You would have to have a High Power aftermarket 4k Governer Spring Kit to achieve those kinds...

I love these 2x3's... I've used them throughout my build out and can't notice ONE BIT of difference in strength. I don't think with our bus dimensions we could break that "Load Bearing" requirement...

The rolls of bubble foil did it for me... I was having a hard time getting the heat down. I coated the Roof with the Ceramic Coating - that with the Bubble Foil~! Bingo!
