I just completed the steel frame seat mount for the drivers seat. It'll be boxed with plywood and probably have a pull out drawer for storage. It went smooth and is rock solid.

Good info guys... I'm nowhere near ready to install the lines yet, so I haven't really started to researched it but it sounds like the two stage regulator with an emergency shut off is the way to go....

That is a really bad bit of info. By tightening after the silicone sets, your are breaking the Adhesion seal, and relying on compression to seal the connection.

Tango, thanks for the good info. I think you make a valid point with the DOT/safey issues. If I'm going to be driving around with my family in the bus, they should be safer and stronger tanks. Sold!

Thanks for the info guys. I always thought step drills were only for sheet metal, but after some googling they can actually go through 1/8" and even 1/4" steel! Lesson learned :? I 'll remember that...
