Wish my 69 was a 6-71 pancake, but it's a Cat 3208 V8 in the rear, with the upside down shift pattern

New member here. Loved the old Cummins. My 69 Gillig Transit school bus originally had a 190 Cummins, but it got converted at some point to a 3208 Cat. Powerful, yes, but the Cummins of that era...
