I just went with 3/4" xps foam board, with 1/2" osb. Ill be bolting the corners of the osb to the steel before we drive anywhere.

Yea my friend did exactly that for the bathtub in his green house, and if you walk in the front door at the wrong time you could be covered in boiling water that spews out of the pressure release...

I plan on having it rest on some supports, just like the picture. And only having the blankets and pillows on the bed while its up.

Also when it's in the raised position I want it to fit snug into...
