My old Startrans was built very well. 1" steel tubing cage with thick fiberglass inside and outside. 1" ridged insulation between the steel tubing.

You don't tell them its a bus. I got my title changed to MH (motorhome) then told insurance company I want to insure my RV. Cheap and easy. Oh course this was in Ohio.

I have a 5.4 gas in my shuttle and I get about 12 unloaded and about 10 loaded towing a 20 foot enclosed car hauler. Don't believe the diesel guys, they are fanatical.

With that many miles it probably needs a sleeve kit to smooth out groove worn in by the high mileage. I had to do it to mine to prevent the leak, just a new seal wouldn't do it.
