Re: Finally Bought Another Bus!

Hey Charles it's looking good man! It's funny you started with the rivets on the walls and I started with my ceiling panels. I just finished removing all my ceiling panels yesterday and am going to...

Re: Necessary to patch floor bolt holes?

Thanks for everyone's feedback so far. I guess I wasn't clear with my original post though, as I don't need to know HOW to fill the holes. I can read the forums and figure that out thanks to all the...

Necessary to patch floor bolt holes?

I've been troubled by this question; Is it necessary to patch all of the seat bolt holes in the floor? Moisture needs to go somewhere... so in the case that rain or other moisture works it's way down...

Re: Suzie Blue - Our 1990 Blue Bird TC2000

Happy thanksgiving all! Finally got all the seats out of our bus. I removed some of the rubber floor and thankfully there is no wood underneath. Aside from being covered in glue the metal is in great...

Re: Suzie Blue - Our 1990 Blue Bird TC2000

Boy do I feel dumb! It was one of the side emergency windows. I thought I closed it all the way, but the latch didn't press the little metal nipple button down. Lesson learned, always press firmly on...

Re: Florida registration for new conversion

No Problem Charles. Char is a really great agent and she's not afraid to take on "out of the box" projects like this. She's actually a friend of mine I would always run into around town. Then one day...

Re: Suzie Blue - Our 1990 Blue Bird TC2000

Thanks for the advice. I realized this morning that the buzzer has to be for a door, window, or hatch because it happens as soon as I hook up the battery. I'll double check the hatch tomorrow and if...

Damn man I would absolutely go with you but I bruised my coccyx really bad on Halloween and can't really sit down for that long. I think a 700+ mile road trip is out of the question for me :) I...

Suzie Blue - Our 1990 Blue Bird TC2000

It's time to start the build thread! Our bus is named Suzie Blue. Everyone use to call my mom Suzie Q so we felt like naming the bus after her would be a good way to honor her since she passed away...

Re: Bus Dealers - experiences?

I live in FL and the dealer prices here are very high. It's rare to find a dealer bus less than $7500 and even then you'll be getting a late 80's early 90's model. I ended up using GovDeals to score...

Re: Going fishing at auction, hoping to catch 35 footer.

Here's a quick update on the bus. Couldn't get her started so we had her towed about 3 miles to a truck repair place. They couldn't work on it yesterday but are finally taking a look this morning. My...
