Just checked engine vs fan rpm: could be misleading, just found out I checked rpm in Wrong spot. I went at blade end not the hub.

Energized solenoid:
Fan 0-250rpm
Engine idle-2000rpm

Military Surplus DT530 throttle

I have a 2008 DT530 military surplus that I have installed in a Gillig Phantom. Though it is a 2008, its 2003 EPA so no egr, def, etc. which complicates finding the appropriate parts.
