Solved

Solved the issue. Was NOT the bms, but rather the resettable breaker choking the current draw. Replaced with 400w ANL fuse and all is good!

Currently running 2 300ah lifepo4 batteries (chins) in parallel, tied to a 2500w inverter. Plenty of power, no complaints at all EXCEPT for 2 circumstances in which my electrical system completely...
