Hey Chuck, no my bus just has a 1 speed rear end. 2 speed be awsome tho...you could tool down the hiway @ 500 rpm :lol: ....IF ONLY!

Thanks demonkight, your are right, those motors are tuff. I was surprised how well she runs, specially after sitting since 2001 and not run very much since 1973. Shes a bit rattly on the top end, but...

Heyyaz...I found 1/4 of that pile, on top of the gas tank, between it and the floor. all the rest was in the frame rails and tie downs from the bus body to the frame. amazingly enough, no real signs...

Hey guys, thot I'd share with you all a tip to save you on your skoolie gas usage. Easy to do. but does take a bit of time. took me 4 hours to remove some 46 years of dirt built up from in the frame...

G'day...Hey thanks for replies, I will reply to all in 1 fellswoop. (makes it easier), altho the bus is 46 years old, the body is incredibly sturdy...the metal is really thick, i dont know "gauges"...
