The "euro" mirrors you have are nicknamed dog ear mirrors. They were only available on RE Thomas buses. Expensive! the lower segment is the "crossover" mirror.

Besides the fuel sender, if the tank ever has to come out a lot of buses
use that hole to reach through and disconnect hoses too. Otherwise you stretch and damage them. Leave it accessible!

My 1999 Gillig Phantom only had a wood floor....
My 1999 Gillig Phantom only had a wood floor. (maybe it is a California thing?) It survived living in Ohio and Michigan all this time. I just scrapped it due to many other issues!
