Re: what the global warmists' really want...

I forgot to add that the whole scheme is solely based on a quest for money and power. I truly don't understand the fools who will gain nothing from their grand leaders' power mongering and go along...

Re: what the global warmists' really want...

Once again I find myself agreeing with Smitty. I do find it ironic that my goal is to full time in a skoolie...that will generally stay in one place for extended periods of time and run off...

Re: Interested in learning more about school bus conversions.

Personally, when the time comes, I have no idea where I will work on the bus, find the time, or acquire the skills needed to complete the job, however; these things seem far too personal to be...

Re: Tankless waterheaters

This was certainly on my list of things to try, but the more I think about it the more I think solar heat in the summer and using the wood burning stove in the winter would be a surer bet.

Re: busses with bike storage room...???

Personally my goal is to get a bagger and another smaller bike in and have a dirt bike strapped to the back. I've been making floor layouts again and again and haven't figured out a way to fit...

Yeah you did. It has been years since we've seen a bad winter in OK. Looks like you got here just in time.

Re: Big single cylinder motorcycle engine?

The Kawasaki KLR has been around forever and uses a 650 thumper. I know you can find these bikes fully functional on the cheap so a wrecked one should be even cheaper. Honda also makes a 650 in the...

Re: solar system for running an A/C

Personally, I looked into this a long time ago...and lost all the data I had collected....and am 100% sure it is possible. However, I am also convinced that it will be an extremely expensive system...

Re: busses with bike storage room...???

I know I've seen one in the gallery. Someone had three cruisers in the back. Sorry I can't be more help, but I couldn't not respond to a guy who is evidently going in the same direction as myself.

Re: LP tanks/batteries in same compartment

Smitty's picture made me laugh, but in all seriousness... There are ways you could do this, however; there are a lot of obvious reasons you shouldn't.

Re: Carrying firearms in an RV

i agree. burglary is not a capitol offense. Shooting a person for stealing property is unethical in almost all cases, and illegal in most states. (perfectly legal in texas! legality and morality...

Re: So Good I Had To Share (Sad, But True)

Excellent post. Too often people get caught up in bitter debates between their loyalties to either the Democratic or Republican parties. Very rarely do you actually find someone who knows that they...

Re: Victom of Crimes

I honestly don't know about a school bus, but I have dropped tanks on plenty of cars. You might want to have a jack handy so that all of the weight isn't on you or the person helping you. An eleven...

Re: Toilet special needs

I don't know what needs you are talking about, but don't the composting toilets work without water? And you could put a lock on the compost box so it could only be opened by you. Of course if you...

Re: Storage Thread

I'm sure someone here has done these things: How about storage built into the floor like in WWII submarines or (simple) nets for storage on the ceiling for all the raised roof crowd.

Re: Let's Talk Battery Banks

I considered the forklift batteries also, but(correct me if I'm wrong) don't you have to both vent those and keep them within certain temperature specifications. I mean with a non-venting battery...
