I always scuff the paint with an air palm sander using 320 on the flat areas and hand sand the rails and areas with 320 that it cant get into. I use 220 over any rough spots, painted lettering etc...

I dont think they started putting the cummins in until 92 and the 7.8L I dont believe was ever put in the B700. I'd bet anything it is the brazilian new holland 6.6L, I think it was the only option...

I can use it anytime (after air builds up a little) on my Detroit 6V92. Idling is not good for them and also keeps the generator and AC kickin.

If you are going over a factory finish dont waste your money on priming the entire bus, especially a cheap laquer primer like duplicolor. It dries fast which could actually cause you more adhesion...
