When I put the new cap on my Thomas, I had to take a ziz wheel and make a blade width cut in a couple of places to take out some of the material so it would lay down. Stitch welded it back.

Nice write-up on the door lock. Thinking outside of the box is a good and necessary thing when doing conversions. I thought about this for quite a while, but in the end, decided not to put a lock...

I believe your bus already has cruise built into the computer. You just need the control panel so you can turn it on/off and set the speed. Talk to a Cat mechanic.
