Smitty,
I think your idea is fine; it's really just a glorified Porta-Potti. Coming from the boat side of things I don't see how this is any worse than pumping waste through hoses all over the...

Re: best way to heat water.
Hiya!
Well, the first thing you need to do is teach everyone the basics of a "Navy" shower (turn on the water, get wet, turn off the water, shampoo, lather up, then rinse). Otherwise your biggest...

It really depends on the capacity of the inverter and how you want to use it so there's no one answer.
The inverter I most use has a built-in 30-amp transfer switch so the shore power inlet (that...

1982 Thomas Saf-T-Liner ER (pusher) for sale (WA State)
It's with a great deal of reluctance that I post my bus for sale. I'm relocating to Nashville, TN and will not have a place for the bus or the time to work on it since I'll be traveling a lot for my...

Hi and welcome aboard.
I've insured my buses with GMAC with no issues. I didn't tell them it was a school bus but then again I didn't not tell them; they just didn't ask. I just told them it was...

I was going to make the same suggestion as Smitty. I know they've been used on some HDT fifth wheel haulers (essentially semi tractors with RV plates on them to pull really large fifth wheels). On...

Perhaps ideally it would be nice to get in the high 60's or around 70 mph at 2400 so when cruising around 60 or so the rpm would be lower....

Re: Bus #2... saved and with a new home
Ah! That's the question, exactly.
I think the decision to attack the floor comes when:
1) you know it's bad from the start or
2) it stinks or
3) you try a test area and the rubber comes...
