I used white Rustoleum oil based paint in the gallon can, thinned with acetone, and sprayed on with a HVLP air sprayer. I didn't use primer. I sanded the whole bus lightly with a orbital power...

I usually default to Liquid Nails for stuff like that. I like the fact that there is a thick bead that gets mooshed, so I feel like there is a better chance for adhesion. I'm no glue expert...

The "quick fix" would be to cut those rubber hoses in half, and use whatever tools are necessary to remove the old hose and yellow ends from the metal tubes. Then put new sections of hose in place...
