Re: 8.3 md 3060 mpgquestion
I think it'll do better than that. My 89 BBAA with an 8.3 and a MT643 got 10.5 from AZ back to CA. it had a 4.10 rear end. That included the grape vine and hills. The 3060 is a double overdrive. ...

Re: Gas vs. diesel, which one and why?
My B700 has gas power, got 6.5MPG. My Genesis is heavier, an automatic (B700 was a 5+2), and gets 10-11. A modern gas engine (Ford V10, GM 8100) would actually work fine in a skoolie...but they...

I have 200HP, 4.11's and 11R22.5 tires...65MPH is 2100RPM. 3.55's would be WAY too tall!

Re: School Bus to Fashion Truck
Make sure the GVWR is 26,000lbs or less, and you will NOT need a CDL. You WILL need to comply with various DOT stuff (including a medical card), but you won't need a CDL.
