You can squish out the water from foam by placing between two sheets of plywood and driving over them with the car. Never tried it, but apparently its what guys who get water into their snowmobile...

Of course I put in a trap. To keep under the sink area clean, the trap is under the shelf, in the open area where the furnace is. Just above the floor level. Everything fits like a glove.

Pretty sure those tanks are polyethylene, epoxy won't stick to it. You can however get compression fittings for polyethylene tanks. You drill a precise hole, push the fitting in, then tighten a nut...
