The "BMW" Bus

Hello all! Ive been a lurker for some time while I planned a Bus build. Well, I finally pulled the trigger and got my bus. No bus should be without a name, so here is the "BMW" bus.

First, My other hobby is BMW automobiles and motorcycles. I currently own two BMW coupes and one BMW café racer.
Second, My wife and I have 5 fur kids. 2 Doberman Pinchers and 3 Chihuahuas. They have been affectionately known as our "weasels". this lead to the "Bring My Weasels" bus. As our main goal for the bus was to be able to travel and not have issues with keeping our dogs with us everywhere we go.

On to the bus,

1992 BlueBird TC2000 26Passenger "shorty".
5.9 12V Cummins with a Allison 545. 4.33 rear end.

Shes just getting started, but I have the floor pulled up for the most part, and this weeks goal is to get the floor prepped, painted, insulated and new subfloor down.

Happy to be a part of the community and look forward to sharing our journey!

Welcome, I have an ISUZU bus so your BMW bus will fit right in, and I love the look when people say "they made buses?"

Re: The "BMW" Bus

Well, I had hoped to make progress today but it rained solid all day long. I got some of the wiring rat nest (literally, rats ate up wiring) fixed. At least now my gauge cluster works again. Fuel gauge is still not working correctly, reverse lights are always on when the key is on and I have no brake lights but I gotta start somewhere I guess. Hopefully strip the rest of the flooring out tomorrow when it dries up.
