Dallas, TX - passing thru - have ??

Plotting a trip back east end of summer 2015. One of our planned stops is to spend the night at the Sam's Club on the Southwest side of Dallas (Jct I-20 & US 67) on Wheatland Road. Does anyone know if there are height bars at the entrance? We are 11 ft high. Thanks.

The Google Street View car did not see any in Dec 2011. Of course by next year, that may have been changed, even if there are none today. Welcome back.

We saw a few Wal-Marts on our way out here that had the height barriers. I do not remember if the Sam's Clubs had any. Nor did we overnight in Dallas (did that in Benbrook COE). There are no "NOP"s in my POI's for Dallas for that area. It is a fairly recent update. I'm counting on the Sam's Clubs to allow us to overnight even if it isn't allowed elsewhere, just like in the past. So far my POI's have been accurate. Fingers crossed! I wish that Google car was more recent too!

Re: Dallas, TX - passing thru - have ??

I called the Sam's Club in Dallas that we will be staying at. Since all of us are members of Sam's Club, the store manager said we were "more than welcome" (his words) to stay in their parking lot. Great news since we sleep better in Sam's Club parking lots.

Thanks for the input.

I can stop by there and check for you. I drive all over the DFW metro.

Be careful there… that is not a good side of town fyi…. I use to work in Lancaster and yes you need to be very very cautious.
