flameout

I was driving my 88 Chevy Bluebird (listed as Beautiful Feet in the Gallery). Yesterday my engine went up in flames. I have a ton invested in the body and chassis and want to save it. Any luck with engine change out issues and cost? I had a gas Chevy C6000 which I believe is toast. Would a newer salvaged truck engine work?

Re: flameout

It's surprising that no one responded to it when it happened, but that post is almost a year old at this point. I have a feeling he figured it out by now.
