The medicine cabinet is 3.5" deep, the width of the 2x4 stud bay.

The lock is a master lock I picked up at Home Depot http://m.homedepot.com/p/Master-Lock...SEN/202260772/

Just wanted to share this month's update video and some pics:

February 2015 Update: http://youtu.be/fZlWUJpsuxI

And pics:

Vinyl Plank flooring

Shelves for books

Curtains my wife made

Note the new lighting

Got the TV/Computer installed

Did some countertops

Stained the couch and built a shelf over it.

Installed a stove (still needs to be plumbed in)

Built a hood fan out of an exhaust fan.

Starting to look much more like a home

My friend Amos installing a receiver tube in my front bumper for my city-bus style bike rack.

The drop we ended up having to build to keep the bikes out of the driver's line of sight.

The bike rack before we dropped it 11.5"

Nicely done.

Looks well built. Nothing will be coming apart on you.

Good job.

I actually bought the rack at an REI garage sale. It was absolutely worth the 60 I paid for it. I couldn't have bought materials for that much.

I like your range hood, but I'd be worried it'd suck up any pots or pans that get within, oh, about five feet of that suction!

What kind of exhaust fan? I'd like to put something like that in my bathroom.
More details please.

Its a 12v RV exhaust fan that I found cheaply on Amazon. I think it was 40-50ish?
