Re: Three Crown Super Coach II's for sale

I think 6k each is a little much to be asking, especially since they can't be used in commercial service where they're located. But that's just my opinion

They are meant for conversion

These are meant to be converted and with all the underfloor space they
are much closer to a highway coach in their useable space. Everything
between the axles is available. The only reason they are even up for
sale is that the operator can not use them past 2014 with all the crazy
laws in Kalifornia. I stated their current revenue making status in order
to encourage interest because they are in superb mechanical condition
and require no effort, or money, to possess a 100k+ mile capable coach
with no rust or downsides from day one. The asking price is very
reasonable and if you factor in the many potential repairs for a "really good
cheap buy" then you should see the logic of that. If not, then enjoy
your never ending project bus, and road failures etc..

Check the link for more pics and asking price

Good shape from the start can not be overemphasized unless you have
direct access to a properly equipped maintenance shop and a ready supply
of cash, usually way more than what you paid for the bus. They are very
much like wooden boats.....only with wheels. But still the same madness.

It might help for me to show the full URL sorry about that.

Copy this and paste it into your browser as a brand new web address. I don't know
if this forum automatically will do it for you. The URL does work and if you're having
trouble it's most likely how your browser is trying to find it.

OK I just tested it and it works fine now. The tip off is that it's underlined
which means it's a valid URL. My initial mistake was not including the http:// oops.

Now for something completely different............

How about I digress? And show a video of a REAL CROWN. One of two on earth custom made for Hewlett Packard............in 1966

Yup. Not the same at all. Move along and let someone build something completely different from a few more REAL Crown's needing a touch of love. ;)

New Tires........New Brakes......New or rebuilt air brake relief valves front and back.......Replacement of all significant braided ground wires which had turned to dust and about 7 or 8 days of pretty intense reconstruction.

This is a 1966 Intercity raised roof Crown at 35 feet. Custom built for Hewlett Packard-Neely. Bus came originally equipped with the 220 Cummins and a 13 speed Spicer Transmission.

As this Crown sits today it has a 375 HP 855 cu. in. Turbo charged Cummins Big Cam. Mated to a 5 speed Allison automatic transmission fully mechanical and sits on 24.5 inch Alcoas.

This Crown cruises 75 MPH at about 1800 RPM........At 2250 RPM it buries the needle. And of course has what sets all real Crowns apart from any other pretender. That would be the mid-engine configuration and the largest brakes in the Industry. Lending to it's legendary build quality is it's legendary handling. The finest Coach ever built in America bar none.

Are you offering this warranty with the purchase of this coach?

Or is this just another come on grown from your fertile mind full of sycophantic vipers........???? LMAO.................another one of your schemes. Do you own these buses? Can you put us in contact with the Seller? Or is that out of the question? In other words if I wanted one would I have to buy it from you or could I deal directly with the owner? Probably not.
