I need help with a 1972 Carpenter bus

I bought a 1972 Carpenter Coach 74V with a Chevrolet chassis. It's in very good shape but somehow during cleaning and removing the heater unit the switch box got completely dismantled and I now have a bundle of wires that I don't know how to hook up. I have extensively looked on line but can't find a switch box wiring diagram. Does anyone out there know where I can get one?
Or have any suggestions?
I greatly appreciate any help or advice.
Thanks, Bus Girl

wiring solutions

Take lots of pics of the wiring now to establish the wires color, count and sizes. Most bus wiring is very similar. The largest wires carry the most energy. In most buses red is the power wire, black is ground. Make a list of all the wires and try to make a decision on wire size. Make a list of devices or power users. There will be no connections for power windows or dash AC. Go to any local school bus districts and ask any mechanics that will talk to you. You may need to buy some talent. Wiring is just a puzzle to be solved. A piece os cake........Frank

Did you buy it from just north of Tampa? If so, I nearly bought that same bus.

I have this I found under the lid of a 10/71 carpenter bus that was on top of the heater unit. I hope this helps.

Oh! Lol. I can actually take some pics tomorrow for you if the back of the switch panel of the bus I’m working on. All the wires are in their original places so maybe that is what you need.

A multimeter is also a great tool. If you know how to use it, you can check current, connectivity, etc.
