Hey what's going on?

I saw your bus on TV. Very cool. I want to do a chest freezer conversion like you did. Can I see some detailed shots of how you made it slide out? What hardware did you use, etc? Thanks in advance man, I appreciate it.

I've been meaning to change the oil, repair a visor, and change the plugs on the MGB I'm in a relationship with, so I drove her to the yard today--a SUNNY 67 degrees!!
MGB's??? FAR OUT ... I've owned over 60 of them since 1976. I've restored them, traded them, sold them, cut them up for parts ... I raced them in the northeast for over 10 years. I still have a 1970 GT ... but that's another project.

Could you tell us more about this freezer conversion? I just read through your thread and didn't find anything but a couple mentions ... and perhaps a picture.

I'm doing a chest type freezer "conversion" as well. I have a 5.0 chest type and intend installing a freezer thermostat in it. I've also got a LOT of cold packs that I'm going to freeze and line the bottom with when we go on trips. The top mounted door should keep the cold from falling out when the door is opened and has the additional benefit that it can be used as counter work space.

Hopefully, the combination of the top mounted door and the cold packs will keep the electrical draw low.

BTW ... love the name of your bus.
