Smile Oregon Newbie

Hi all. I don't have a bus yet, but I want to buy one and convert it into a mobile home. I plan to live on the road in it. I prefer buses over traditional RVs for several reasons that have been listed numerous times. One of which is the sturdiness of buses vs factory made RVs.

I like that my bus seems to get about double the mpg's of my parents RV. Of course, mine is a diesel and theirs is a gasser.
What part of Oregon are you in?
We are heading cross country to Eugene sometime in the next year hopefully.

Western Oregon. I wouldn't recommend Eugene, unless you're visiting someone(or several someones) you really care about.

Yeah there are a few good folks who I know there.
They are locals there and love it. Although they say the same of Portland.

I say a lot of those things about Portland as well. Helps that I've lived in Portland for the past eight years.
