i've had the heater a year and so far i really like it. all issues have been user error. the Celsius readout is my biggest gripe.
there are 3 options for installing the tank included. its own tank, drilling into the fuel tank, or teeing off a fuel return line. all the hardware is included.
i broke the electric fitting to the fuel pump, but fixed with tape. - user error
i mistook a trouble code for a temperature. 14 could be 14 Celsius but in my case it was an out of fuel trouble code
i forgot to hook up the lfuel line.... again user error.
there was one other trouble code i experienced..... low battery.... it shuts down automatically to avoid draining the battery
i've only spent 5-6 night in the bus with it running so it hasnt got a lot of use, but it kicks out the heat and runs quiet enough to tune out. my coldest night out there was about 10 degrees and the bus was toasty warm, with or with out blankets. i also have 2" of spray foam insulation all the way around.
i will be adding a piece of rubber between the frame rail and the fuel pump to quiet its clicking noise.
i have some online friends that were answering questions for me on the install. i made some videos of the heater then to point and show... here they are:
1st vid... the heater running right out of the box
2nd vid.... heater running with me trying to decide where the ducting will go.
if i was going to change anything........ i might opt for 2 heaters instead of one..... ducting and placement would have been much simpler
enjoy!
