Re: New Member 1987 Blue Bird
Really nice bus! very well done and I also concur with the open floor plan up front. We have ours that way right now but mostly because we have to live in her and I've been focusing on the bedroom/bath area.
I like the different wood colors, nice contrast.

1987 Blue Bird Conversion
so my most recent upgrades to my conversion was to install a cruise control, so far that was successful I installed the cruise king 2500RV it was very easy to install once I layed it all out. Then we built a ladder system on the back of the bus to gain access to the top, we had to make a split ladder because of the engine compartment door so the bottom of the ladder hangs by hooks from the bottom of the top half, when we don't use it it stores away in the under storage bay area under the bus ill get a pic of that on here soon. Next I want to replace the tires I hope to get this done this summer. Thats all I have for now good luck to all of you on your projects its been great to see all the different styles that everyone has done...

Re: New Member 1987 Blue Bird
It is good to see your progress. We all have different visions of what we want for our big yellow (or formally yellow) obsessions. I have also come to the conclusion that it will never end. Just when I think I have made a firm decision, someone posts a new idea or does something neat that I had not thought of, and I am back to the drawing board. Thank you for the updated posting. Happy New Year!

Bang up job! I like the shower stall and water closet! Paint job's pretty slick, too. Lovely colours.

Re: 1987 Blue Bird Conversion
Hello everyone its been a while since I been on here its been a busy year for me I thought maybe I should update some pics of some changes I have made to my BlueBird since my last post. Last spring I changed out my water heater for one that has a electric ignitor boy that has really made life a bit easier no more going in and out to light the water heater everytime I need water the old heater started leaking and the pilot would never stay lite, next thing I did was replaced my little refrigerator with a big one and I do mean big side by side ice maker and water in the door that was a pain getting in the door but we gotter in LOL. then I replaced all the dome lights with lights that have their own individual switches that has saved on battery power a lot. And also over the summer I added 3 solar panels on top these came in handy when we went to texas motor speedway last month. I have a few pics of some of the stuff ive done ill get some more added when I get some pics taken.
