Once I got all the nails out I ran them through the thickness planer to smooth them down and get them all down to uniform thickness. They wil wait this way until I am ready to join them edge to edge to make panels, then finally I will build my cabinetry with them. Instead of throwing out everything with a hole or crack I plan to fill all voids with a black wood putty then stain them fairly dark. We will see how they turn out. At least its been cheap...so far.
