The first 8 feet of the sub-floor is in

I glued the strips down to the steel, then glued the sub-floor down to the strips, then nailed the two together with my nail gun.

After that, as you can see in this picture, I stood up the rest of the plywood on it to add some more pressure while the glue cured.

I bought this plywood at Home Depot. I originally went to Lowes, but walked out when I discovered that the first 15 sheets in the stack were junk and there was no one around to help me dig out the better stuff.

The top sheet at the Depot was better than the 15th sheet at Lowes--and someone was around to help me load it.
