Advice on crawling under a cut-a-way

I'm going to look at an E350 Ford, tomorrow. (and maybe a 450, Friday)What advice can anyone give me about where to look for rust. If I can crawl under it, where should I concentrate?
Is there any secrets to checking window leakage?
Thanks in advance

Coachwork: Never coached any teams, not even junior soccer
Chassis: I'm still figuring out what this means
Engine: CAT diesel
Rated Cap: No caps, only hats.
If you're under there and rust isn't raining down on you and getting in your eyes, it'll be a bus that is much less rusted than mine.

Maybe focus on the main frame of the bus ... and with a flashlight from underneath, you should be able to see if there is much floor left.

I have a friend who bought a 2002 E350 Corbeil bus last year. The rocker panels are probably the worst hit spot. Also all the rear lights are a mess. I think he's going to replace the lot of them. Otherwise it's a pretty nice little bus.

Oh, and it's a Northern Ontario bus, so all the frame rails are rusted. Not dangerously so. It comes with being 15 years old up here

Check the drivers floorpan. Body mounts directly after front wheel. Check under floor mats in the front where the body mount bolts penetrate. If it is an aluminum corbeil like mine then the body should have no rust. On my e350 ambulance the front number bodymount area was rusted as well. Good luck

Thanks for the advice. It was a decent bus, and close, but it had a 5.4 which isn't my fav. I could be persuaded, but need to rethink that drivetrain.
