Choosing the right Bus for conversion

Wow, finally a site that could answer questions the internet seems to hide in a dark virtual corner.

I am a eager beginner ready to purchase a bus for conversion. I see many old school buses but I have become obsessed with a different kind of bus, one in particular.

Can anyone tell me about a 90s Oshkosh Collins Shuttle Bus (25 passenger)?

If the mileage is 215,000, how much life is left? Am I better off finding something newer?

I feel as though, I may need to force myself into practicality and less on the body structure.

I like the large windows, that it is a bit smaller in size compared to a 48 seat school bus, diesel, rwd.
