Gauge to weld guidance?
I'm at the stage where I need to weld the floor to move forward. What gauge steel should I use? I will need to do a large piece for the section, see the picture attached. It's the area your feet rest while driving

16 would do, 14 would be perfect.
At least in my bus the floors are 14ga from the factory.
