there are more and more truck APU's coming out that are electric.. I believe thermoking has a couple.. using inverter compressors is making them more efficient, however A/C and its process takes quite a bit of power / energy .. they are also currently very expensive for the U.S. versions

something like the alibaba unit if you are running a separate solar system you could run 24 volts pretty easy? 7000 btu could work if you are just cooling a small part of your bus or if you plan to just cool at night to sleep.

What I got from looking at them is that they are 12v or 24v, with half the cooling when on 12v. So, yeah, ain't much cooling at 12v, but not bad at 24v.

Playing around with my minisplit. Was cleaning my filters and noticed how much more airflow I got with the front lid open. With clean filters and the front lid open, this easily doubled my indoor unit's airflow! Think i found my new setup when this bus is docked at a camp site. Just leave the lid open haahaha.

The output air temp is only 5 degree higher at 47F up from 42F because the air is moving faster but I'll take it. This thing is operating at a DeltaT of 33 which is awesome

I'd like to test one of those...

Someone posted a great link to a spreadsheet for comparing specs of various A/C's a while back, I can't find it, does anyone recall where to find this link?
