What your showing is just one part of what's necessary, you're forgetting the neutral in this scenario. You'll also need 2 50 amp relays for both hot legs of your 50 amp shore plug, while your 30 amp will only have one..

If you buy an automatic transfer switch for an rv, it will be much simpler and provide exactly what your trying to create here.

Thanks for the reply. Not much experience at all. I bought a 50a inlet but it only has 1 hot wire terminal. I'll provide a link. As for the rv auto switch, could you provide a link to such device that will relay all three 120v sources? https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06X1...mob_b_pd_title

A good place to start when learning about RV electrical is with Mike Sokol's series of you tube videos entitled "The no shock zone". There are several Sokol tuitorials covering a wide range of RV applications--they are informative and entertaining though you might have to dig around a bit to find just what you want.

I see no reason why you can't build your own transfer switch but with tongue in cheek I'd have to say your present partial diagram looks like a day at Lucas Electric----don't let the smoke out!
