Planning help plz

Hello all, I'm new to the community and I've been in love with the nomad life style for some time and I want to do it in the utmost comfort possible. I'm planning my skoolie build and I definitely need to do a roof raise as I'm 6'8. I have a few questions:
1.What did you use/ what will I need?
2.Are there different ways to raise the roof, if so please elaborate?
3.how high is too high for bridge clearance, etc
and any tips or suggestions

Much appreciated

Hello,
Did you consider a coach instead of a school bus? If the utmost comfort is needed and you know you'll need a roof rise, it may be an option. There are great MCI or Setra from the late 90's - early 2000's. I know it is not the same thing, and willing to build YOUR skoolie to YOUR specs is something I totally understand.

There happens to be such a coach for sale on the East Coast for $6k. A little longer and trickier to drive than a skoolie though. BTW, OP you double-posted this... The site can be a little slow at times, so make sure it's not taking its sweet time before clicking 'Submit' again. Makes it easier to get the answers you need when only having to track one thread.
