Please help!

I have a “Yakry” 2 camera wireless back up camera system and I have NO idea how to hook it up. I’d like to hook it to the running lights and to be on constantly so I can use it as a rear view and back up camera. Any ideas on what wires or what to hook the cameras to? Colors or what not??? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Easiest thing to do for this would be to tap into the tail lights at the rear to minimize the amount of wire needed. Your brake / tail light will have three wires, one for the running light, one for the brake light, and one for the ground. Usually your lighter color wires will be 12V, darker colors are ground. I can't say for sure which of the two 12V sources will be the one you want, but the easiest thing to do is turn the lights on and jump out from whichever one gets power without the brake lights on.

I would, however, recommend wiring a relay with a 12V feed from the front, to prevent overloading the wiring.

Okay, thank you! I’ll put some pictures up when it stops raining and I can’t get in the bus.
