Rear Window Frame Removal?

Hello,
has anyone come across windows like this? I haven’t been able to find as many Girardin bus conversions, but the ones I have found seem like most people leave these frames in. Mine are cracked and don’t seem watertight though, what should I do? It seems like if I try to remove them, the windows won’t be held up and sealed on this side anymore.
Thank you so much in advance! I’m new and doing this alone so any advice is really really appreciated. 🥲🫶

If your Girardin bus windows are cracked and not watertight, you have two main options:

1. Repair: Use sealant or epoxy to temporarily fix cracks and ensure waterproofing. This is cheaper and maintains the frame but may not last long.
2. Replace: Remove the cracked frames and replace them with RV or marine windows that fit the opening. You may need to reinforce the surrounding area with trim or additional supports for proper sealing.

You may be able to find OEM replacements from the manufacturer or parts dealer. Windows get broken all the time - most can be replaced. Poke around, worth a couple phone calls.

A little hard to tell from the single picture but do they actually leak, or are those condensation drips on the inside?

I've had a few locations on my fiberglass shuttlebus that needed additional screws-from your picture, maybe all you need to do is re-drill through the flange on either side of the cracks and seat in a new pan-head screw.

Or share additional pictures showing details.
