Roof prep.

hello fellow members I am in the process of finishing my roof with Henry's 287 coating. I started sanding with 200 grit paper but almost immediatly was sanding metal. What would you suggest primering with? Can a primer be rolled on? I only have a gravity lvhp paint gun. Sugestions? Thank You

I also sanded through the paint in numerous places. I spot primed all bare metal with a special primer made for galvanized surfaces first, then applied rustoleum.

Thanks Robin I may have to think about Rustoleum. Ace has direct to metal which can be rolled on. Thanks for your time.
