“RV” insurance?

Hi all- just starting out here.. thinking about getting a Double Decker bus and converting it to a home. I don’t want to drive it around, so it doesn’t need to run. Would it be classified as an RV if it doesn’t run? Wondering about insurance for the bus etc.

My plan is to buy a plot of land here in Oregon, US and live out of the bus (clearly I’m in the very early stages of planning )

Why even worry about insurance? I’d take the wheels off, put a skirt on it and tell them it’s a mobile home
